Achievement

This year we offered an IGERT class in learning in humans and machines taught by IGERT PI de Sa and Professor Sarah Creel (new professor at UCSD in human learning and development). This was required of all trainees that had not already taken the vision in learning and machines class . Several non-trainees also took the course and we had a good mix of people with backgrounds in machine learning and human learning/development. The students and faculty all learned a lot from each other about the area less familiar to them and about how human learning and machine learning are similar.
