Achievement

Joanna Mandecki presented a poster at the 2010 Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington, on January 3-7, 2010. Her poster was titled "Synchrony of pectoral fin locomotion and eye movement in shiner perch (Cymatogaster aggregata)." and co-authored by Paolo Domenici and Duncan Reid. It is one of the first studies examining eye and limb movement coordination in fishes. Joanna's presentation at the meeting was supported by an IGERT training grant travel award.
