Implementing a sustainable water system in El Salvador

A two week trip to El Salvador by trainees for Engineers Without Borders resulted in a drinking water assessment of the area as part of an IGERT's research of the Earth's subsurface biosphere that could solve major environmental, agricultural, and industrial problems. Engineers Without Borders is a nonprofit humanitarian organization that partners with developing communities worldwide to improve quality of life through the implementation of environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects, while developing internationally responsible engineering students. Using data provided by IGERT trainees, the organization is implementing a sustainable water delivery system in El Salvador.
