Writing an IGERT Proposal

Data Management Plan

  1. What is required in a Data Management Plan for an IGERT proposal?
    Please refer to the solicitation for a description of the DMP and follow the link for the general NSF policy. Additionally, given the nature of IGERT’s NSF-wide reach, proposals must address any specific DMP policies that the directorates/divisions related to the proposed interdisciplinary research may have. Please also follow the EHR policy (http://www.nsf.gov/bfa/dias/policy/dmpdocs/ehr.pdf). It should be noted that colleagues and personnel from your research fields will be involved in the merit reviews and thus they will be looking for DMPs that follow established data standards (if any) in their respective areas.
