About Me

I apply principles and tools from bioinformatics to study molecular evolution at the genome scale. In particular, I seek to identify and understand determining factors in protein evolution at the resolution of single residues, genes, and intermolecular interactions. I am also deeply invested in science education and public awareness of science. In my free time I enjoy science fiction, games, playing piano, and organizing.
