Working on the IGERT trainee poster competition nominees list

About Me

I currently work as the IGERT Science Assistant at the National Science Foundation, Education and Human Resources Directorate, in the Division of Graduate Education.

I earned a B.S. in Biology, distinguished with honors, from Penn State University in 2004, and a M.S. in Interdisciplinary Ecology, concentration in Statistics, from the University of Florida in 2007. Both my undergraduate honors thesis and my Master’s thesis are focused on the population dynamics of 4 species of freshwater turtles in Florida, a study I was fortunate to become a part of in my freshman year at Penn State. I worked primarily with capture-mark-recapture models (CJS, Pradel’s reverse-time models).
