About Me

I am graduate student at the University of Washington performing research on the adaptive use of social networks by prehistoric hunter-gatherers to mitigate unpredictable forms of environmental risk (i.e. natural disasters). My research focuses on identifying networks through geochemical trace element analysis of pottery found in the Kuril Islands in the Russian Far East and evaluating the structure of these networks using social network analysis.
