About Me

Received Ph.D in Physical Chemistry with Certificate in Optics through the IGERT program in 2001 from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Spent 5 years developing lasers for medical applications in the Bay Area. Transitioned from engineering to technology and patent analysis in 2005. Currently working for a boutique patent analytics firm, IP Checkups, that specializes in evaluating competitive patent landscapes for a wide variety of technology areas.
