About Me
Through my participation in the IGERT program, I have more fully realized that I am destined to pursue an “alternative career” in science. My career goals include but are not limited to; feeling happy and energized at work, being able to continuously learn, becoming known as an expert, utilizing my creativity, building my personal brand, and collaborating with experts in a variety of fields. This alternative career will (1) broadly impact human health through research and (2) educate the non-science public. Since I enjoy writing, I predict that my findings will be supported by a foundation of written work, both scholarly and popular.
