2015 Annual Meeting Call for Proposals: National Postdoc Association

Description:

Combined Call for Proposals: Innovation in Action Sessions, Posters and Workshops

Submission deadline: Tuesday, September 30, 2014, 11:59 p.m. EDT
Notification of proposal acceptance or decline: November 2014

The 2015 NPA Meetings Committee is seeking proposals for (a.) Innovation in Action sessions, (b.) poster presentations, (c.) 60-minute workshops, and (d.) 90-minute workshops to share unique training programs, best practices and success stories for the postdoctoral community.

A proposal may be submitted for more than one type of session as long as it meets the requirements for each venue. If you submit a proposal to be considered for multiple venues, you will be asked to rank your order of preference, since your proposal may be selected for only one. Each individual presenter may only be included in two proposal submissions.

Proposals will be selected via a blind review process that rates the strength of the proposal on integration with meeting goals, relevancy to the audience, and impact of take home points. For workshops and innovation in action, the structure/organization of the session and any background material provided will also be considered.

If you need ideas for your session, a list of some suggested topics and past examples is available.
