Welcome New IGERT Science Assistant
We welcome our new IGERT Science Assistant, Mr. David Pietrocola. He recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with the M.S.E. in Systems Engineering. While at Penn, he was a member of the Ackoff Collaboratory for Advancement of the Systems Approach and researched the modeling and simulation challenges for the synthesis of socio-cognitive agents and realistic social behaviors in immersive training environments. He also holds the B.S. (Honors, Phi Beta Kappa) in electrical engineering from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., where he developed several award-winning unmanned ground vehicles and autonomous robots. His research interests include intelligent agents, serious games, mobile robots, human-robot systems, complex systems, and engineering and public policy awareness.
